2024–2025 Teachers’ Training 🎓✨

As part of our ongoing commitment to professional growth, our teachers participated in a series of training programmes throughout 2024–2025, equipping them with valuable skills to better support our students.

The training included Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) 🧠📘, photography skills (Train-the-Trainer) 📷🎓, first aid training ⛑️🩺, and a creative tie and dye workshop 🎨🧵. These sessions strengthened both practical and creative competencies, empowering our educators to deliver more effective, engaging, and holistic learning experiences.

Behaviour Management Workshop on ABA Therapy
We had an enriching two-day workshop led by BCBA therapist Ms. Mabel. The sessions provided valuable insights into behaviour management strategies and techniques, equipping teachers with practical skills to support students effectively. It was an engaging and informative experience for all!

2-day Photography Training Workshop by XD School
The first day was held at our centre, where teachers learned the fundamentals of photography and explored practical techniques. On the second day, training continued at KLCC, giving teachers the chance to apply their learning in a real environment. 📸 It was a meaningful and enriching experience that will surely benefit our teaching and creative projects ahead.

First Aid Training
During the school holiday, Sri Eden staff and teachers continued learning essential first aid skills. The hands-on session covered CPR, AED use, choking response, bandaging, and more — equipping our team with the confidence and knowledge to respond in emergencies. A practical and invaluable session for everyone!

Tie and Dye Workshop by Teacher Aishah
Teachers got hands-on in a colourful tie and dye workshop led by Teacher Aishah, experimenting with socks, T-shirts, and scarves. The session was full of creativity, surprises, and amazing results — each piece bursting with unique patterns! We can’t wait to bring these fun techniques to our vocational trainees and see them create their own colourful masterpieces.

Through continuous learning and collaboration, our teachers remain dedicated to providing quality education and care for every child. 🌱💙

Co-Creation Workshop on Special Education Needs Programme

Shaping the Future of Special Needs Education!

Sri Eden is honoured to be invited by Yayasan PETRONAS , in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Selangor’s Special Education Needs Unit, to a Co-Creation Workshop on Special Education Needs Programme, aimed at designing a new pilot program for Years 1-3. This program is set to launch in schools across Selangor, Johor, and Sabah.

Alongside dedicated officers, special education teachers, and representatives from NGOs for Down’s Syndrome, Dyslexia, Autism, and learning difficulties, we brainstormed pressing challenges, identified critical needs, and outlined actionable programs for immediate and long-term improvements.

With the current system facing issues like overcrowded classrooms (one teacher to as high as 15 students) and a shortage of adequately trained, passionate educators, change is essential. Together, we aspire to create a more effective, inclusive educational experience for special needs students in government schools.

To end the session, all participants were invited to the Link Bridge on Petronas Twin Towers to have a view of the surrounding landscape.
