World Autism Awareness Day

Students and teachers work together to fill the board with heart and positive words to spread awareness to the public. Let’s recognize, support, accept and understand them.

Mid-Autumn Festival

Students made their own lanterns from recycled plastic bottles. They enjoyed carrying lanterns around the school with the festive songs.

Deepavali

Students learnt the story of Deepavali and how it was celebrated. They learnt to make “kolam”. They learnt about Indian food eaten during the celebration and they lit the oil lamps. On this special day, teachers are also dressed in beautiful traditional clothing.

Cooking class students learning to make pancakes. They learned the skills of mixing, stirring and pan frying.

Cooking class students learnt to make their own Pan Mee! They were able to work with minimal supervision after the fourth cooking trial.

New recipe: Stir fried vegetables. Students learned to peel, chop, and slice vegetables while preparing ingredients. They also learnt how much sauce and spices to put in when seasoning.

Cheese paratha and paratha pizza! These cheesy savory stuffing were made with sliced cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella, sausages and tomato sauce.

Students practice drawing using the computer application “Paint”. Their creativity creates beautiful art.

Fine motor activities in the class. Students squeezed coloured water droplets to fill up the small circle.

Table tennis in the class. The benefits of ping pong for students are that it maintains and improves coordination and stimulate thinking.

Fun and interactive science activity! Teachers created a tasting game with sweet and sour fruits, food and drinks.

Social Skills program conducted by clinical psychologist trainees from Cyberjaya University.

There were a total of eight sessions including observation, group screening and social skills training sessions.

They used the “Fast Track Friendship” method that focuses on creating peer focused social environment, where the trainees practice emotion regulation and problem-solving skills together with students.

Mother’s Day art and craft made by students. The colourful art represents their love to their mums.

Students used their handprints to make Father’s Day cards and designed cards to express their love for their beloved dad. Besides, they decorated a frame for a selfie of them and their dad to display on the board.
