Students made their own lanterns from recycled plastic bottles. They enjoyed carrying lanterns around the school with the festive songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deepavali<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students learnt the story of Deepavali and how it was celebrated. They learnt to make \u201ckolam\u201d. They learnt about Indian food eaten during the celebration and they lit the oil lamps.
