The students learned about the national flower and animal, explained the significance of the flag and anthem, and highlighted the country&#8217;s various races and their unique cultures. Every year, we engage in an important lesson on &#8216;Keeping Me Safe&#8217; with our students. We introduced the concepts of private body parts, understanding OK and NOT OK touches, distinguishing private and public places, setting personal body boundaries, and the importance of being cautious around strangers. They practice having conversations using scripts and learn how to handle conflicts and stay calm in different situations.
