At present, Sri Eden is funded by contributions from our children\u2019s parents and well-wishers. As many of our children are from B40 & M40 family groups, the contributions are insufficient to sustain the centre. We have to appeal for donations from caring people\/corporations, to help us to sustain this work among the underprivileged.<\/p>\n
With the donations received, we hope to be able to achieve the following:-<\/p>\n
1)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Administrative Expense<\/u><\/em><\/strong>s: Payment towards rentals of 2 premises, utilities, maintenance of premises, are a constant part of our expenses.<\/p>\n 2)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Sponsorship of Children<\/u><\/strong><\/em>: Sponsors are needed to \u2018adopt\u2019 a child at RM 350 per month for a year.\u00a0This would ensure continuity of training for the child. \u00a0 This would also greatly alleviate some parent\u2019s financial burden as these children require other therapies as well to address issues that impedes their learning and development.<\/p>\n 3) Sponsorship of Therapy fees:<\/u><\/em><\/strong> Therapy fees at private centres are very costly.\u00a0 Our in house therapists provides therapy at very highly subsidized rates.\u00a0 Even then, many parents are still unable to afford to put their child in for therapy services. Very frequently, out of compassion, due to the severity of a child\u2019s condition, we conduct the therapies without charges.\u00a0 This puts a very heavy load on our finances.<\/p>\n 4)<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Special Needs (SEN) Educators<\/u><\/strong><\/em>: To provide adequate skilled and trained teachers to manage the growing numbers of such children seeking help from the Centre. The numbers of such children are constantly on the rise and without sufficient funds & staff, we will not be able to take these children in.<\/p>\n Sponsoring our staff\u2019s salaries would greatly alleviate our financial lack so that we can provide what is appropriate and necessary in our work with these children.<\/p>\n Families of these children suffer great distress, uncertainties, hopelessness and homes have broken up due to the stresses caused with having such a child.<\/p>\n Please help us to give these children the help they need in order to give them hope and a future.\u00a0 With training and intervention, there is a possibility of making changes in their lives, in the hope of them becoming independent and productive individuals so that they can be integrated into Society.<\/p>\n With whatever donations you can make, whether big or small,\u00a0YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!<\/strong><\/p>\n Help us and together let us make this nation to be\u00a0\u2018A CARING SOCIETY\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n Thanking you for your kind consideration to the needs of our Centre.
