The annual year end party has become our favourite “holiday” celebration of the year. It has become a true celebration of teachers, therapists, caregivers, community helpers and children who have grown into a cohesive team. It marks the end of yet another incredible year here at Sri Eden.
The day kick started with lively Christmas carols, ushering the festive season. After which students from Rose class performed a cultural Malay and Indian dance. Kong Chan Weng, one of our senior students, played the organ in front of an audience for the very first time!
The highlight of the day was, of course, the award giving ceremony. Students who exhibited progress in areas of social and academic development were awarded with trophies. Apart from that, parents, who have been tirelessly supporting their child and upholding Sri Eden were awarded with a token of appreciation.
It has been a tradition of ours to have a potluck lunch at our annual party, where parents generously contribute yummy dishes! And so we all went back with joyful hearts and happy tummies!
We could not achieve what we do without the support of families and community helpers. Thank you for being a part of Sri Eden!
